Movie was very different.. The humour element was ample.. The ending was clichéd.. The dialogues failed to receive laughs while the tragic scenes managed to bring tears from the spectators.. Ornaments and costumes looked cheap but that's no wonder since Gautami is the costume designer . The portrayal of a mortal selfish actor in real life with the comparison of the irony in the movie where he is immortal and sincere, was drawn neatly and reached its pinnacle at the climax.. We have enough 'daddy heroes' in our industry, Kamal should do more quality roles instead of taking every role in the movie except for heroine. And I bet he'd do that too if he could kiss himself.  Kamal going around kissing every XX chromosome carrier in each of his movies is kind of crossing the line when the target audience is still conservative and Indian cultured. KB's performance as an actor will definitely leave an impact in all our hearts. KB's reminiscence gives us a glimpse of our nostalgic 'olden days' Kamal Haasan and currently 'old' ulaga nayagan. Ghibran's music was not very impressive except for the climax song. Pooja's performance is getting better but every time she delivers a dialogue, she twists her lips so hard that one might think they will tear off any minute. Andrea couldn't have been more gorgeous and hot but as usual she didn't have a prominent role in the movie. Parvathy Menon simply swept us off with her sophisticated hair style.. Needless to say, Urvasi, Jayaram and Nasser did their best as usual.

Kamal's acting (over acting in a few scenes) keeps the spectators intact in their seats. If you can dance half as good as him when you are sixty, consider yourself very healthy. All jokes aside, this multi talented legend can never be replaced ever. One can always expect uniqueness and dedication in his work and never has he failed to deliver that.. For all those who don't appreciate this movie, I'd say that you need a whole other mindset and a passion for art to completely understand Kamal's work. This movie is a feast for every Kamal haasan's fan and a delight for an art lover.

Nobody except Kamal Haasan could have pulled it off! Hats off to the living legend!
